Welcome to the home of Rossvale Keeshonds, Shih Tzu’s and Japanese Chin.
We are a small kennel in the North East of England , owned by Sheila and Steve Brown. Sheila was introduced to the Keeshond breed in 1969, and then after marrying Steve in 1979 decided to have a Shih Tzu, purchasing our first bitch in 1980.
We have had considerable success in both breeds , having owned / bred 7 Champion Keeshonds , plus other CC & res CC winners and 6 Champion Shih Tzu’s and CC & res. CC winners. The newest member of our family is the Japanese Chin, who joined us in 2005, and is a pleasure to own.
We mainly breed for our own purpose, but sometimes have quality puppies available.
All of our dogs live in the house with us , until old age.
We are always happy to give advice or answer questions on the breeds.
